Do you think that animals should be protected from humans? Why or why not?

Increasingly the men are destroying the environment and for consequence the animals. Humans are the most dangerous animal on Earth. So the animals really need be safe from the men for some reasons.

First, the humans have destroyed more ecosystems than any other animal. They made species extinct more than any other animal. The man has created instruments that kill directly or indirectly the animals. Such as bombs, poisonous chemicals, bio-toxins, cars, planes, heavy machinery and all the other several things.

Second, when people think of a dangerous animal they think about how physically powerful it is and how savage it can be. Humans may be frail and weak compared to large wild animals but they can be extremely savage. The man is deadly in numbers and with technology.  For instance, put a unarmed human naked in the wilderness with zero primitive or modern survival skills and he’s dead meat.

Third, the human see in the animal an opportunity to make money. There are many species of exotic animals and some people that would like to have this animals for them. So, the demand for these types of animals is big for move the illegal trade these exotic animals. In the other hand, with these attitude increase the number of species in extinction. For instance, some birds from Amazon Forest have extincted because they were removed from their natural habitat and sold illegally.

In summary, the humans are a dangerous for the animals because they cannot only appreciate their beauty, some people want get money with them without care what can happen with these undefended animals.
